Vatican exhibition topic at Rotary Club meeting

A Vatican Exhibit presentation is scheduled noon Tuesday during a Rotary Club meeting in Levelland.

The presentation will take place at the Housing Authority Building in the Community Room, corner of 14th Street and Avenue J, said Rick Osburn, assistant city manager.

Katie Johnston, marketing and finance coordinator for the Vatican Exhibit 2002 Foundation, will give a 20-minute talk during the luncheon meeting. Johnston said that she will address general topics related to the exhibition of medieval frescoes from Rome, scheduled in Lubbock June 2 through Sept. 15.

The event is open to the public. Though admission is free of charge, lunch costs $8. Anyone who wants lunch should call 894-2060 to reserve a plate, Osburn said.

The presentation will begin at 12:30 p.m., he said.
